Jude Maceren - artist

Creating fine art work is also my inspiration. At this point of my career I have an opportunity to express myself freely painting in a traditional way inspired from my heart. I like to paint the beauty and the love that creation radiates to man. At this time I have series of exotic flowers done traditionally in watercolor which I was inspired to paint capturing the beauty, freshness, joy and love that radiates from each flower at its peak of blossom.

My series of paintings will evolve from flowers, animals and people showing that there is a relationship of love and beauty to each one. Aside from my illustration career I also love to create fine art work thru which I can also exhibit my creativity in a special way.

Biography

In addition to my fine art work, my illustration skills also show my creative talent. I gained experience doing illustration projects which are mainly used for editorial, advertising and corporate clients. My work is conceptual and stylized that solves effectively the creative needs of my clients. I spend time working on my illustration projects in New Jersey, USA where my studio is located. In Costa Rica I developed my fine art work and established another art studio where I spend part of my time. I studied advertising design at the University of Santo Tomas, College of Fine Arts in the Philippines, where I was born. During the years of my art profession I became more involve in illustration and pursue it as my full time career. My greatest strength is conceptual illustration which I really love to do and my work is done digitally as well as traditionally. I am currently a member of the Graphic Artists Guild in New York.

Awards I received are: United Nations Stamp Design Award, Boli Award (Best of Long Island Award), Optima Design Award, Northwest Craftmen's Club Award, The Visual Club Award and New Jersey Press Association Award.
